Café Verhappen | Gemert
Café Verhappen was built in 1939 by Johan Verhappen, also known as Dad Verhappen and his wife. The café was later taken over by son Sjef. After years of having a busy café, it was decided to build a party hall there. In 1970 Café Zaal Verhappen was taken over. Currently Café Verhappen Gemert is run by Frans, Anny and José. The café is still a second home for regular customers, billiards club OBK, various indoor soccer teams and darts teams.
