Expo Brabant Spring

7 Brabant-based visual artists from KuBra-Art are bringing spring to 't Oude Raadhuis in Beek en Donk!
They will show their art for four weeks in the monumental Oude Raadhuis located in the former seigniory of Beek en Donk. From Saturday 27 May to Sunday 18 June 2023, all Saturdays and Sundays, as well as both Whitsun days, Brabant artists will be present to talk about their work.
The official opening will be celebrated on Saturday 27 May from 4pm with snacks, drinks and performances from 3pm by singer-songwriter Frederieke van Ierland (Frée Music).
The opening will start with the raffle of an artwork from a previous exhibition in support of 't Oude Raadhuis. More info: www.stichtingkubra.nl

The exhibition 'Brabant Spring' embodies this energetic atmosphere of change and renewal, offering a colourful palette of creative expressions appropriate to this inspiring time of year.
Brabant Spring, at 't Oude Raadhuis in Beek en Donk, offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy art by Brabant artists inspired by this season's energetic atmosphere. The speciality of KuBra-Art's artists is contemporary art and the collection is multifaceted: With intuitively painted atmospheric images by Frank Keiren (Nuenen); tough polyester sculptures by Nanda van Alebeek (Zaltbommel); powerful figurative paintings by Honoré Didden (Tilburg); subtle glass art by Vicky van der Plas (Vught); geometric abstract paintings by René Roovers (Nuland); fusions of porcelain with weathered iron by Jeanette van Strien (Haaren) and spherical, layered paintings Jeannie op 't Hoog (Tilburg).

The exhibition will be officially opened on Saturday 27 May at 16.00. During this exhibition, 't Oude Raadhuis will be open on Saturday and Sunday and on Whit Monday and Whit Monday.  Admission is free. During the exhibition, artists will be present to talk about their work.
