which has now sold more than 300,000 copies. It has also been translated into German and
Spanish. In her latest book The Revolution or the Century of Women (2022)
she describes how women's lives have changed in a hundred years. She chooses a
"small" history to tell the "big" one: her mother, her father, her older
sister and herself form the common thread. With this story, she exposes the background of the
gender relations of our time. A dazzlingly told history of women in
Netherlands. A personal and compelling story of emancipation.
