Calling Tribute Band Featuring Kees Versluys

Elvis Night 

The band for this show was formed with the aim of reviving artists. At Paaspop, some musicians met during a performance there and came up with the idea of continuing this. This resulted in the Calling Tribute Band. 

The Calling Tribute band consists of musicians who have earned their spurs in music with well-known bands. For instance, the band's spokesman bassist/singer Arthur Morpey has accompanied many well-known names in music with his band, including Lee Towers, Maywood, etc. He scored a big top-40 hit with Satisfy and was himself in Henny Huisman's soundmix show twice. Two other members of the band like keyboardist Angelo Smulders and Bart Drossaers formed "John Belton" who were known to many throughout the country as a show orchestra with dazzling high-profile shows. Angelo Smulders and Bart Drossaers even created a national song contest song for Willeke Alberti. And what about the ladies of the amazing backing vocal choir Irma Martens, Erica van Wessel, Joyce Kapel and Christien van Helden of The Calling Tribute Band. These ladies revive the times from Elvis Presley's Aloha concerts. Supplemented by a tight rhythm section consisting of drummer Kees van Den Broek and percussionist Peter van Tongerlo, keyboard player Annelies Heldoorn, owner of the well-known Centrum voor Pop en Jazz music school, and a horn section consisting of saxophonist Frank van de Broek, Jeroen van Rooij and Johan Geurts, this band is complete. 

Technique in the hands of Danie Oomen, Paul Nijssen and Stephan. A performance by this band with 'The Voice of Elvis' Kees Versluys, is a performance where the passion for Elvis, is shared with the band and the audience. 

Kees Versluys who has also become known to most for his performance in Henny Huisman's Soundmix show.

Besides live music, Robin Klarenbeek will also be present with his impressive stories and Elvis memories, taking everyone into the life of his idol Elvis Presley.
