Festival the Buitenbende at De Laarbeecke
As part of lifelong learning, third-year pupils from De Laarbeecke are organising an interactive festival for children in grades 6, 7 and 8.
Of course, learning is not only done from books. Excursions, internships, guest speakers, school trips, they are all experiences from which learning takes place. At De Laarbeecke, pupils also increasingly carry out real-life assignments. For instance, a very successful food truck festival was organised earlier this year and a new festival is planned. Third-year pupils from the framework vocational programme will then organise the Buitenbende festival. A festival especially for upper primary school children. There are all kinds of outdoor sports and creative activities. This event also ties in nicely with the national Outdoor Play Day. Pupils from primary school groups 6, 7 or 8 are welcome in the schoolyard that afternoon.
