O&U presents: Olé!

Spanish summer spheres with O&U at Music Centre 't Anker. In need of more summery atmospheres now that summer is still a while away? On Saturday evening 3 June, Muziekcentrum Het Anker in Beek en Donk will be dominated by Spanish atmospheres during the exchange concert with Harmonie Prinses Juliana from Klaaswaal: Olé! Both Koninklijke Harmonie Oefening en Uitspanning and Harmonie Prinses Juliana Klaaswaal will perform music of Spanish origin. 

For the last time under the baton of conductor Harry Vorselen, O&U will perform the works The Valencian Widow by Aram Khachaturian, Il Concerto by Oscar Navarro with solo clarinettist Jonie Pijpers and Cerulean Overture by Julio Domingo. Nice to know, Julio will be the new conductor of the O&U wind band.

Harmonie Prinses Juliana, led by Xavier Scheepers, will also present a programme featuring Spanish elements. They will play works by Soutullo, Melillo and Copland, among others.
