Irma van Gemert is coming to Art stage 't Oude Raadhuis with her exhibition 'harmony of colour and nature'. Her abstract paintings and impressionistic landscapes will be exhibited, inspired by the beautiful nature.

Irma van Gemert grew up in Someren-Eind. Creativity has always played a big role in her life. Irma says: "Even as a small child, I was already drawing, painting, cutting, colouring, pasting, you name it. Therefore, in 2014, I decided to study Painting at the Academy in Arendonk. With the aim of becoming a portrait artist, but now I am more versatile and also paint landscapes and abstract works."

Irma van Gemert grew up in Someren-Eind. Creativity has always played a big role in her life. Her passion lies in painting, mixing colours, having fun with the subject matter. Exploring what the paint does and occasionally combining paint with other media such as photos and newspaper clippings. Let yourself be enchanted by the versatility of Irma's creative process. With a unique approach, she works simultaneously on multiple artworks in both large and small formats. Oil paint, acrylic paint and watercolour are masterfully used to bring colourful and high-contrast works to life. She regularly travels into nature with her easel to work real life. This way, she brings even more atmosphere and feeling to her works.
