Workshop groentes fermenteren,heerlijke pittige Koreaanse Kimchi.

VELT teacher Maartje will teach a vegetable fermentation workshop. Kimchi is a Korean brother of sauerkraut but with extra spice, herbs and garlic. Fermenting improves preservability, without a refrigerator or freezer. Microorganisms also make the fermented vegetables more digestible. Participants will also receive a bottle of fermentation drink that is already ready-to-use. Made from Heerlijck Hopveld apples and quinces. A book, available from Heerlijck Hopveld, can help with fermentation. It's called "Fermenting Vegetables from Season to Season.
