Moes dreams of being a prince and making everyone in his country happy. One day a man knocks on the door, claiming to be his uncle and able to grant wishes. He takes Aladdin on a flying carpet to the Far East. An exciting adventure begins in which Aladdin, together with the Djinn and the princess, must pull out all the stops to find the magic lamp and defeat Djafar the magician.

Koekla is a travelling puppet theatre from Edam. The company has been creating wonderful children's shows since 2000. These are often adaptations of fairy tales or self-devised stories. The performances take place in beautiful decors. Lighting, sound effects and music create magical atmospheres, surprise and playful details. Professionally crafted puppets are engaging and lively characters, making every performance a delightful experience full of positive energy. Artistic director Christina Boukova is the puppeteer and actress, while her partner Gilian Dierdorp provides audiovisual supervision.
