OG3NE

OG3NE is the Dutch vocal group consisting of sisters Lisa (24), and twins Amy and Shelley (23) who are praised for their extraordinary harmonious vocal qualities. The name OG3NE stands for their mother's blood group O and the genes that bind the sisters together. In 2014, they were the first and only group in the world to win the fifth season of 'The Voice'. This made the three sisters the 'Voices of Holland'. During their participation, Shelley, Amy and Lisa achieve a No 1 listing three times with the BeeGees cover 'Emotion', the song 'Change Will Come' and their final song 'Magic'. For the single 'Magic', OG3NE will receive a gold record in early 2015.

However, 2016 is the year of their real big breakthrough in the Netherlands. On the programme 'Best Singers', they amaze the Netherlands every week with their extraordinary singing together. The ladies score as many as 3 No. 1 hits during their participation in the successful programme. For their version of 'Clown', originally by Emeli Sandé, OG3NE received a gold record. Meanwhile, in the UK, the sisters record their debut album 'We Got This', which is released at the end of 2016.

In the same period, OG3NE is approached by broadcaster AVROTROS to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. The sisters grab this adventure with both hands and in spring 2017, OG3NE represents the Netherlands at the 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, Ukraine, with the highly personal and harmonious 'Lights And Shadows'. It is a musical ode to all people suffering from an illness that often disrupts the family situation. The song is close to Lisa, Amy and Shelley's heart, as they were in a similar situation due to their mother Isolde's illness. OG3NE gloriously makes it through the semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest and eventually reaches an 11th position during the Grand Final. The professional jury rated the performance 5th. Internationally, OG3NE also put themselves on the map and they were showered with praise from all over the world for their unique voice. They also received an Award for the best vocals of the festival.

Following the success of the two theatre tours 'SWEET HARMONY TOUR 'The Home Isolation Edition' and the 'SAMEN OFF, SAMEN THUIS' tour, OG3NE can be seen in a number of open-air theatres in the coming months. In this special live show, OG3NE combines English-language and Dutch-language repertoire.
