Founded in 2008, singing group The Medlies is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. A crystal milestone that should be remembered and celebrated. Of course, the men are marking the anniversary, but the four singers don't want to know anything about standing still on stage. 

Back to 2008, when Fred Langstraat, Peter van Vijfeijken and Ronald Heijmans decided to record a carnival song. Under the name Die Milka's, this is repeated in 2009 and 2010. The act catches on, performances are expanded to include other music and increasingly take place outside the carnival period as well. In 2010, Pierre Hink also joined this illustrious company. By then, the self-written carnival music has been completely exchanged for existing and well-known party music. Finding this a better fit, the men also said goodbye to the name Die Milka's on 14 November 2015 and the singers continued as The Medlies. Half blown out to even far beyond Lieshout, the four singers still perform regularly at events, parties and celebrations in Brabant and beyond. Although corona also put a dent in De Medlies' calendar, it is now filling up well again. For years, the genre has consisted of Dutch, English and German party music and sing-alongs. With a repertoire of almost 100 songs, the band can also be booked for a full evening.
