Exhibition of three artists at art venue 't Oude Raadhuis
until 23 April
A must-see exhibition by 3 artists opens at Kunstpodium 't Oude Raadhuis on 1 April. Janne de Jong with the exhibition 'meanings', and Jan Beckers and Ans Jans with the exhibition 'stone and bronze sculptures'.
Janne de Jong's 'meanings' are drawings with a meaning. She makes drawings with pen and ink with which she scrutinises fragments of the world; critically, but sometimes with a wink. Her dream is to break everyday thinking patterns and to stimulate the viewer with her work: she presents the viewer with a story and thus makes them think about the world around them.

Jan and Ans have a gallery called the Ateliertje in Boekel. Jan has always been into Tiffany, stained glass and restoration work. Ans fills her spare time with drawing, painting, as well as handicrafts with thread and fabric. Together, they have now been creative for about 20 years. It grew out of control: so now all kinds of art objects are created not only as a hobby, but also professionally. Nowadays, they also share a passion: they have found each other in bronze casting. The sculptures are often inspired by nature. Ans makes a wax sculpture, after which Jan takes care of building, casting and finishing the final bronze sculpture. They also work in stone.
The exhibition is open from 1 to 23 April on Wednesdays to Sundays from 2pm to 5pm. The exhibition will also be open on 1 and 2 Easter Day. Entrance and parking are free. On weekends, the artists will be present. You are welcome to come and talk to the artists about their works during the weekends.
