Inner Adventures

Inner Adventures is about the way inwards, the contact with yourself. By stilling and consciously focusing your attention on what can be felt in the moment, Lonneke, owner, takes you on a journey to yourself. With simple exercises and in a safe environment you can experience how to reconnect with yourself. The result is relaxation, peace and a feeling of freedom!

Course offering
Lonneke and her colleagues offer different variants of yoga. For example Vinyasa yoga, in which the yoga postures are performed on the rhythm of the breath. By synchronising breath and movement, we create a dynamic flow, the postures flowing into each other. It is like a meditation in movement. You develop a powerful, energetic and flexible body, while at the end of the class you experience total relaxation. Vinyasa yoga brings strength, flexibility, fitness, balance, concentration and meditation.

Restorative yoga is aimed at recovering from stress and tension. Through simple postures and breathing exercises, you are invited to experience deep relaxation. You learn to be consciously present, you create more space and suppleness in your body and you get more peace in your head and body.
Yin Yang yoga provides a healthy balance between body and mind. Yin stands for softness and surrender, while Yang stands for action and purpose. In these classes, active dynamic movements (Yang) are alternated with still postures (Yin) that are held longer. The dynamic movements focus on the muscles and ensure a powerful vital body. The Yin postures focus more on the deeper connective tissue around joints and organs and bring you into contact with the silence within yourself.
Yin yoga does not focus on the muscles, but on relaxing them. By relaxing your muscles, you reach the connective tissue located in the deeper layers of your body. Connective tissue strengthens and lengthens more slowly than muscle tissue, which is why Yin yoga poses are held between three and five minutes. The longer you stay in the pose, the more time you have to turn your attention inwards and listen to your body and its limits. Yin yoga provides deep relaxation, stimulates your meridians and organs and teaches you to experience space in your body. You don't use your body to get into the pose, but you use your pose to get into your body!
