Starting at the Castle of Helmond, where you can visit an interactive exhibition about the building and its residents and the history of Helmond, as well as a permanent exhibition called “Man and Labor”, a collection from The Netherlands and abroad, themed "The working man".

Need to unwind after visiting the castle museum? It is possible in the wonderful atmosphere of the Jan Visser Museum. Here you can enjoy a delicious genuine Brabant lunch, after which you will be invited to take part in an interesting tour of the Jan Visser Museum.

The Jan Visser Museum has a large collection of agricultural tools and instruments, exhibitions about old trades and the history of fire departments. Come and marvel at the unique collection of the late Jan Visser at its beautiful location, in and around the newly constructed farm-style building. The atmosphere of relaxation and dedication makes you forget all about the hustle and bustle of everyday life! The museum offers a collection you will not find anywhere else in The Netherlands, including the historical equipment of the Helmond fire department. The museum also has a fully equipped smithy, a bakehouse, a cobbler’s workshop, carpenter's tools, wooden shoes and other trades. Outside, you will find agricultural tools, instruments and machinery, both manual as well as horse-drawn.
