Seniorenkoor Sint Joachim
The Seniors' Choir 'Sint Joachim' Beek en Donk was established on 15 June 1969 as the Seniors' Choir. They like to sing polyphonic songs in various languages. They have also included a number of cosy songs in their programme.
They regularly give concerts in, among other places, nursing homes, add lustre to the Christmas celebrations of the KBO and enjoy going to choir days that are organised together with other senior choirs. Besides the serious rehearsing, they find meeting each other and sociability very important. The rehearsals on Tuesday afternoon are very well attended, which is not least due to their enthusiastic conductor Wim Smits.
