Rectory (municipal monument) at 37 Nieuwendijk in Someren-Eind; The current building was erected in 1931 by Pastor Arts under the architecture of FJ Vervest from Eindhoven. Built in the form of a villa with an ornamental garden, partly closed off by a brick wall and partly with a privet hedge. Large ornamental garden at the back with a large red beech in the middle. The brick building has a rectangular floor plan, has two storeys under saddle roofs covered with glazed old Dutch tiles, which are at right angles to each other. Wide dormer, box gutter. Characteristic are the monumental double round arch door with a stained glass frame and the decorative brickwork under a semicircular concrete canopy. Furthermore, a hard stone mailbox, a rectangular bay window with linked windows, stained glass skylights and glazed sills, a triple linked window with ditto skylights, which are repeated on the first floor. In the gable end are two small attic lights and a roof molding of ornamental masonry.
