This Village Pump in Lierop was donated on the occasion of the 825th anniversary of Lierop by the Stichting Evenementen Lierop 825 on the occasion of the 825th anniversary of Lierop in 1981. The artists Huub Maas from Lierop and Karel de Jong from Aarle-Rixtel have pump, as it used to look. Symbolism: In the old days, messages were passed on to the villagers from this place.
