Community Farm

Would you like to meditate, experience a sharing dinner, follow a workshop? This is all possible at Community Farm in Aarle-Rixtel.

Community Farm is a self-sustaining organic goat and sheep farm in the middle of the Brabant countryside. They produce their own dairy products in a traditional, authentic way and focus on small-scale and nature-inclusive agriculture in which they follow and use the natural cycle.

In addition, they function as a 'meeting' and development place where people come to rest, reflect and share (knowledge). Their goal is to inspire and facilitate development in awareness and a healthy connection between people, animals and nature.

They are working on expanding a holistic care platform where (experience) experts from the mainstream, alternative, anthroposophic and additive sectors come together to support people with psychological complaints such as burnout or depression.

Raw milk goat's and sheep's cheese

Their artisan cheese has been made since 1952 in an authentic way according to the recipe of Gouda Cheese. They use a wooden tub, wooden barrels and let the cheeses mature on wooden boards with a natural and edible rind.

They work in a nature-inclusive way. The sheep are still milked by hand and the goats are allowed to access a small milking table. After milking, the milk is merely filtered and processed raw into cheese. With all the attention and love they have, they take care of their animals that graze their 5 hectares of permanent and unsprayed grassland in good weather.
