Snoeperij Jantje
You may still be able to conjure up the image in your mind's eye: the moment you stepped into Jantje's sweet shop as a child. A shop with a tinkling bell above the door, large bins of loose sweets and a decor of colourful sweets. On the wooden counter a huge scale. Behind it stood Jan, usually wearing an apron, who told you how much you had to pay and asked if you wanted mayonnaise with it. You would leave smiling. These were magical moments for us. Moments we would like to see for everyone.

Jan has not been behind the counter for a long time now. But his name is still on the window. When we opened our sweet shop on a beautiful spring day in 2013, the name was quickly born: Snoeperij Jantje. A tribute to the man who gave us, and many others, sweet memories.
Step into Snoeperij Jantje and you'll soon see: this is not just any sweet shop. Time has had no effect on the shop: you step straight into your own childhood. But the interior is not the greatest strength of Snoeperij Jantje. No, it is the people who work there.
Some see them as mentally handicapped. We see very pure, open-minded, hard-working and kind people, who flourish if you give them space, rest and trust. They are all great people who do meaningful work. Everyone in his or her own pace and way, but especially together. Together, we are Snoeperij Jantje.
With Snoeperij Jantje, two dreams have come true for us. We work in the most beautiful, nostalgic place we can imagine. And we offer a safe workplace to the best colleagues we could wish for. That makes us, day after day, as happy as a child in a sweet shop.
See you soon!
