After more than 20 years of standing among flowers, I decided to put the flowers out myself. I followed my heart and in the spring of 2020, I started looking for an adventure where I can be among people every day. From the moment that this characteristic building on the 'Square of Experience' in Beek en Donk became available, I did not hesitate for a moment. With full energy (and a little help from my husband Arian) the first ideas for our own meeting place were worked out. I have a clear vision in mind: "To create a homely meeting place, in which we use fresh and natural products to bring our guests into a unique taste and service experience. With a continually innovative range of gifts in our gift shop." And so it happened. As of 1 January 2021, a girl's dream came true and KNUS bij Marie is a reality! Love, Marieke

KNUS brings back cosiness and personality to the streetscape of Beek en Donk. This beautifully situated, central location on the Heuvelplein is the ideal meeting place. Where 't Oude Raadhuis used to serve as exhibition space for visual arts, it is now a place where you want to meet. For a pastry with that good neighbour. For a pit stop during a nice bike ride. Or for a chat with friends. Every day, or just in between!
