Manito is a gypsy flamenco guitarist in the most authentic sense of the word; his music is rooted in the Romani tradition from the Camargue (Southern France). No dancers, no castanets, no showmanship. Just guitar: intense, virtuosic, and so deeply felt that it almost hurts. His sometimes inimitable playing is a feast for the eyes and ears. He is named after the guitar legend ‘Manitas de Plata’ (1921-2014), the forefather of the Gipsy Kings.
