Webinar on media and young children

During a webinar, parents, grandparents, and professionals will receive practical tips on using media positively, both with and without screens.

Screens, videos, and media are part of growing up for young children. But how do you handle this effectively as a parent or professional? The webinar is part of the Media Ukkie Dagen, running from April 10 to 17. During this nationwide week, the focus is on using media positively in young families. This year's theme is Coloring, Watching, Chatting. The webinar will be hosted by Denise Bontje, an expert in language and media education and co-creator of Mediasmarties, the online media guide for children aged 0 to 12. The Media Ukkie Dagen is an initiative of Netwerk Mediawijsheid. The webinar is presented by Bibliotheek De Lage Beemden, in collaboration with libraries in the Netherlands and Mediasmarties.
