Nature work days

LandschappenNL holds the Nature Working Days together with the provincial landscape management organisations. Naturally, IVN Laarbeek will participate again. We start both days with coffee/tea and then start the work. At noon we provide a lunch of soup and sandwiches (for those who want them).

On Friday we will build a wheelchair-friendly path near our IVN building. Roll up your sleeves and help shovel, rake and dig for an accessible environment for everyone. IVN Laarbeek goes for a wheelchair-friendly environment!

Also on Saturday we will get to work pruning the alder hedge. The branches and a layer of litter will be used to make a shelter for small mammals. The more small mammals, the more birds of prey and owls. It keeps each other in balance, and attracts each other. Insects also make grateful use of branch piles. These in turn ensure good pollination in the neighbourhood, so that plants can grow well. All in all, we give biodiversity in the Laarbeek area an extra boost!
Because the number of volunteers who participate is registered nationwide, it is convenient if you sign up via the website www.natuurwerkdag.nl. If you come on both days, please register twice.
