The Health Education working group of the Wit-Gele Kruis Lieshout-Mariahout is holding an information afternoon on Ageing Wisely.

The government's message is clear. Healthcare is becoming overloaded, and older people need to work together with their environment to remain independent for as long as possible. Chris Kinders from the GGD will discuss what is important in this briefing: a social network to fall back on, feeling that you matter, how to prevent a fall, healthy nutrition and exercise, how to prepare well for a doctor's visit, and providing informal care. The information afternoon will be held in the Village Hall. Registration is necessary due to limited space. This can be done during the drop-in on Tuesday morning, via the red mailbox, or by email.
