Children's concert ‘Welcome to the Marquee’

Harmonie St Caecilia is holding a concert for children.

Will The Party Master save the day, or does he need some help? In any case, it promises to be a cheerful and musical adventure: the ‘Welcome to the Party Tent’ concert by Harmonie St Caecilia at Het Dorpshuis. The concert is intended for children from Lieshout, Mariahout, and Laarbeek and tells the story of The Party Master. A man who can organize any party, until the work becomes a bit too much for him. It is up to the youth to step in. Various sections of Harmonie St Caecilia provide the musical backdrop. Recognizable tunes, theatrical music, and pop songs. The story of The Party Master’s adventures and the contributions from the various orchestras of St Caecilia are woven throughout the performance. Fun for the children, but certainly for their parents and grandparents as well.

St Caecilia is celebrating its 150th anniversary, and because of this celebratory year, the association decided to develop a music project for primary schools. In these lessons for the lower and upper grades, children learn about music and musical instruments. The Feestmeester (Party Master) centers on that project, the man who is also the main character in this coming Saturday's concert. He is therefore no stranger to young people from Lieshout and Mariahout. Due to limited space, seats must be reserved; this can be done via the band's website.
