Open Food Forest Day – Voedseltuin Het Leegveld

Curious to discover what grows, blossoms and can be tasted in a food forest? On Saturday, 5 September, Voedseltuin Het Leegveld opens its gates for Open Food Forest Day.

From 12:00 to 4:30 pm, you’re free to explore the garden and discover its plants, edible crops and natural ecosystem. There’s also a kombucha tasting and a guided tour to enjoy.

12:00 – 1:00 pm  |  Kombucha tasting
Taste a selection of kombuchas by TINGA kombucha and discover the surprising flavours of this fermented drink. No registration is required for the tasting.

1:30 pm  |  Guided garden tour
Join a tour through the garden and learn more about the food forest, the plants and everything that grows and lives here. You’ll also discover how the garden was created and designed. Advance registration for the tour is recommended.
