The hold is already full of Pieten, a horse, and pepernoten, so almost everything is ready for departure.
Sinterklaas has let it be known that he would be very happy if all the children and adults of Aarle-Rixtel would come and watch him arrive at the harbor by the bridge towards Bakel. For all the children who come to watch, there will be a handshake from Sinterklaas himself and treats from the Pieten. Afterwards, the procession will go to the Dreef, where the Good Saint will host a big party for everyone starting at 2:00 PM. As everyone knows, Sinterklaas and the Pieten will stay in the country for a few weeks after that.
On Sinterklaas's birthday on December 6, everyone is welcome to come and watch the steamboat depart from Aarle-Rixtel for Spain again. This will, of course, also be a big celebration.
