Full Overdrive

Full Overdrive is a new rock band from Laarbeek ready to storm the stages in the area at full throttle. With pure energy, tight riffs, musical passion, and a varied setlist, they blow the roof off.

Full Overdrive consists of frontman Frank Brullemans, who shifts the audience into high gear with his powerful voice; bassist Niek Rooijackers, who provides the band's solid foundation; guitarist Mark van de Weijer, who lays down a carpet of robust rhythm guitar work; Rogier van Dommelen, who provides the music with his blazing guitar solos; and drummer Ralf Bloemers, who holds it all together with his energetic drumming. All are musicians who have more than earned their stripes in the past with bands such as Ratz, Five Dollar Shake, and Doctor Rock. With this background, Full Overdrive's musical direction was quickly clear: Full Overdrive plays heavy rock music with a spicy edge. From Pink Floyd to Metallica, from CCR to Guns 'n Roses, and from The Scorpions to Van Halen. There are songs included that you might easily come across on a Classic Rock radio station, but they also consciously choose the somewhat lesser-known tracks by the big bands that the audience might not expect so quickly.

Now, after a year of preparation, the first performances are on the schedule. In January, the band already played a successful show in Liessel, and now a performance in Laarbeek is on the agenda.
