Open Day Care Farm

During the Open Day, you can cuddle animals, ride ponies, participate in a scavenger hunt, get your face painted, and of course, free coffee, tea, and lemonade with some treats will be ready!

During the tours, explanations about the care farm will be provided. The day will be enlivened by cheerful live music and singing. Young people, adults, and seniors with support needs or disabilities come to this small-scale care farm for meaningful and fun daytime activities. The different target groups work together and complement each other in a very positive way! Participants come with autism, acquired brain injury, intellectual and/or physical disabilities, ADHD, but also people who are just barely unable to keep up in society or are lonely.

There are many different animals on the farm, such as dogs and puppies, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, various birds, piglets, sheep and goats, chickens, a miniature cow, a miniature donkey, and a pony that can be ridden in a relaxed manner. There is also a greenhouse, a large vegetable garden, a stunning flower garden, an orchard, and a yard where everyone can help out. There is a workshop for odd jobs and for dismantling. Delicious cakes are baked and household chores are done in the kitchen. Pleasant rides are taken on the tandem bike. The space, the tranquility, the animals, and nature have a relaxing and healing effect! The participants are super proud to show off their farm!! It is a super fun day, also for families.
