Village dinner Aarle-Rixtel

An evening of culinary delight, conviviality and connection. Have you ever wondered who that friendly fellow villager you regularly say ‘hello’ to on the street is? Or that person in front of you in the queue at the checkout, whose face you recognise but don't know the name? You just might meet these unknown fellow villagers at the table during the Aarle-Rixtel Village Dinner. A brand-new activity to strengthen social ties in the beloved village. 

The DorpsDiner is not just any dinner; it is also an opportunity for Aarle-Rixtel residents to strengthen social contacts. Participating dining duos join the table for three courses, at as many addresses. There they will meet another dining duo and the cooking duo that prepared the course in question. The cooking duo will receive four guests at each course. In this way, everyone will meet twelve people with whom they will get (better) acquainted. By the way, the evening will kick off in Café Bij van Dijk, where the afterparty will also take place. 

You participate as a dining duo or a cooking duo . A meeting will be organised for the cooking duos on 23 October at De Couwenbergh, where they will receive a package that will more than compensate their contribution. Moreover, a thank-you meeting will also be organised for them in spring 2025. Don't care to participate as a guest or a cook? Then leave the mode of participation to the organising committee, which makes the organisation a lot easier. Participation tickets can be bought on the website for pairs. If you want to participate alone when you can't find anyone to go with you, buy a ticket for yourself alone. They will then pair you with someone else who has also registered solo.
