Village dinner Aarle-Rixtel

Just a quick refresher for those who aren't quite sure what the DorpsDiner entails: The DorpsDiner is not just any dinner; for the residents of Aarle-Rixtel, it is primarily an opportunity to strengthen social connections.

Participating dining duos sit down for three courses at three different addresses. There, they meet another dining duo as well as the cooking duo that prepared the respective course. The cooking duo hosts four guests for each course. In this way, everyone meets twelve people with whom they get to know (better). Incidentally, the evening kicks off at Café Bij van Dijk, where the afterparty also takes place. You can participate as a dining duo or a cooking duo for the price of 19 euros per person. For the cooking duos, a gathering is being organized at De Couwenbergh on October 28, where they will receive a package that more than compensates for their contribution. Furthermore, a thank-you gathering will be held for them in the spring of 2027. Does it not matter to you whether you participate as a guest or as a cook? Then leave the method of participation to the organizing committee; that makes the organization a lot easier.

In short: a unique opportunity to discover the culinary talents of your fellow villagers and enjoy delicious dishes where the focus is primarily on a convivial evening where you meet your fellow villagers. The cooks really don't have to prepare Michelin-star dishes; the pot can be placed on the table, so to speak.
