Theater show 'The Milkman'

The theater performance 'The Milkman' is playing four times in the municipality of Laarbeek: in Lieshout, Beek en Donk, Aarle-Rixtel, and Mariahout. The show in Mariahout will also mark the end of the entire village tour 2026.

The Milkman is an ode to the village: a celebration of togetherness, told through memories and stories from the community itself. For each location, the performance is locally adapted, with stories and volunteers from the village taking center stage, so each of the four areas gets to see its own version of the story.

They kick off in Lieshout, on the grass field by the church. Next, they move on to Beek en Donk, at Piet van Thielplein. The following day they start in Aarle-Rixtel at the Kiosk and then perform at Oranjeplein in Mariahout. All performances in Lieshout, Beek en Donk, Aarle-Rixtel, and Mariahout take place outdoors; seats are provided for the audience.

After the city program in the Helmond neighborhoods in 2025, the team will this fall present a tailor-made version of the show in each village, featuring local stories and volunteers from the community itself. The performances are supported by the four village councils of Laarbeek.
