Monastic life with a smile

Sister Madeleine Bouman of the Laarbeek and Surroundings Women's Society is hosting a special and inspiring lecture. Following a previous, highly appreciated visit, she will speak about her work, her life as a Sister of the Precious Blood, and the experiences that have shaped her.

Anyone expecting a distant or strict nun will be disappointed. Sister Madeleine is known as a lively, humorous, and approachable speaker. With warmth, a sense of perspective, and a wealth of life experience, she speaks about life's questions, working with people, and the choices that crossed her path. Her personal stories provide a sense of recognition, depth, and often a smile.

The gathering offers not only a fascinating morning but is also a wonderful opportunity for interested women to get to know the Laarbeek and Surroundings Women's Society in an informal setting. Throughout the year, the Women's Society organizes lectures, gatherings, and social activities for women who appreciate connection, mutual interest, and inspiring topics. Interested women are warmly welcome at De Couwenbergh in Aarle-Rixtel to get to know the association informally. Coffee or tea will be served half an hour before the start of the lecture.
