Who will be ruling the roost among the youngsters in Raopersgat this year?

Carnival association De Raopers is looking for a youth couple to rule over Raopersgat.

The sceptre is shining again, the crown has been dusted off and the youth boards have been given a fresh coat of paint. That can only mean one thing: the new carnival season is just around the corner!

On 5 September, the Youth Committee of CV de Raopers will visit year 8 of De Sprankel primary school in Lieshout. There, they will introduce the class to the world of carnival, tell them what the 2025-2026 youth season will look like, and hand out the registration forms. But please note: carnival is for everyone! So children who live in Lieshout and are in Year 8 but do not attend De Sprankel are also welcome to join in. They (and their parents) can easily find the registration form on social media and on the De Raopers website. Registration is open until 14 September, so iron your white blouse, get your best smile ready and who knows, you might be shining on the Raopersgat stage this season!
