Wine campaign harmony St Caecilia

Harmonie Sint Caecilia is kicking off its annual wine sale in Lieshout and Mariahout.

The wine sale has been running in Lieshout since 1999, and by now the residents of Lieshout and Mariahout are accustomed to Sint Caecilia offering its wine before the holidays.

From 10 a.m., the musicians of the band will be going door to door offering carefully selected red and white wines for £6.00 per bottle. You can also take advantage of the special offer of a box of six bottles for £35.00. All proceeds will go to the association's funds. Thanks to closer cooperation with the O&U brass band from Beek en Donk, the wines are purchased jointly. Around Christmas and New Year, they believe, everyone wants to drink a glass of wine. And the few who don't would do well to buy a few bottles and give them as gifts to friends or acquaintances. After all, this supports a music association that is active on many fronts every year. A band that is there for the citizens of both church villages when they ask for it. As you know, the bottles have their own label featuring the Lieshout music kiosk, making them a real collector's item for enthusiasts.

A specially assembled panel of members, representing the average taste of the Laarbeek population, once again tasted several wines and carefully selected a red and a white wine. The white wine they selected is once again a Chardonnay, a dry white wine. The red wine is a Merlot, a full-bodied, elegant red wine from the South of France. Surprisingly, as in the previous year, the red wine was once again chosen by the panel as the best wine from the range offered during the wine tasting evening. The panel wholeheartedly recommends this choice to you. You are sure to enjoy it and, what's more, your purchase will support an enthusiastic music association.
