Annie's Farm Shop
I am Anne van der Aa, 19 years old and live in Mariahout (near Eindhoven). I live with my brother and parents on a poultry farm, recently joined by a farm shop. Since I was young, I have been helping on the farm, and started a farm shop with my passion for the agricultural sector.
Annie's farm shop has been open since 26 November 2022. I had a dream and that was to start my own business, I noticed that buying local produce was becoming more and more popular. And so the idea of opening a farm shop blossomed. In doing so, I soon wanted more than just selling chicken products. And I applied for and got a catering licence!

Annie's farm shop has been open since 26 November 2022. I had a dream and that was to start my own business, I noticed that buying local produce was becoming more and more popular. And so the idea of opening a farm shop blossomed. In doing so, I soon wanted more than just selling chicken products. And I applied for and got a catering licence!
I study spatial design myself, specialising in products, so the look and the interior was very important to me. That meant it took a bit more time and money, but then you get something out of it.
We stand for an honest piece of meat and quality. All our products come from Dutch soil and are handled with care. One of the things we regularly hear back is that consumers clearly notice the difference in quality compared to the supermarket.
We therefore definitely promote and recommend selling locally. It is better quality, honest and you work with people who work both in front of and behind the scenes and experience the entire process.
Currently, I sell chicken products, asparagus and soon sandwiches! In the future, I hope my business grows even more and customers can easily find me.

Friday: 15.00 - 19.00 hours
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
