Groote Peel War Memorial
This brushed stainless steel monument with bronze plaques was erected in memory of all aircraft crew members who lost their lives in De Peel during the Second World War. The text is written in three languages. The monument was made by Firma Joppen from Beringen, and the plaques were made by Royal Eijsbouts, the bell foundry in Asten. You'll find this monument in the Groote Peel, at the start of the walking route. The monument has been there since 2003.
