St. Joris Chapel
Next to the old shop ‘Uw Kruidenier’ stands a small chapel dedicated to St. Joris. This chapel was erected in 2008 in honour of the three guilds of Asten: the St Catherine’s Guild, the Guild of Our Lady and the St. Joris's Guild. The chapel is built from original old materials. Every year, the St. Joris Guild comes here to pay homage to their patron saint. The text ‘Joris 1460’ is inscribed on the façade of the chapel. An ANWB information board can be found next to the house.
