In the context of greater understanding and awareness of dementia, three information meetings will be organised in Laarbeek during the month of June. Under the title ‘A person is not demented, a person has dementia’, these meetings will offer explanations, insights and practical tips on dealing with dementia.

The meetings are meant for volunteers, professionals and anyone who wants to know more about this common brain disorder. What exactly is dementia? How do you recognise it in practice? And above all: how can you interact with someone living with dementia in a respectful and supportive way? The meetings are free of charge and organised by Netwerk Dementie and LEVgroep.

Wednesday 4 June in De Dreef Aarle-Rixtel

Tuesday 17 June in the Ontmoetingscentrum Beek en Donk

Monday 23 June in the community centre Mariahout
