First evening Wedden dat je lacht

An evening of laughter, howling, and roaring at De Raopers. Dancing, singing, and barrel talkers will entertain you during the "Wedden dat je lacht" (Bet you laugh) evening.

Visitors will be treated to an evening full of entertainment. The evening kicks off with Willem Rongen. This gossip artist from Maashees has been in the barrel since 2018. He was a finalist at the Brabant Championships and at the Goeie To(o)n (Good To(o)n). With his motto, "Laughter, howling, and roaring is the best way to fill the day," he guarantees a great start to the evening. The second gossip artist is Pim Velthuijs. This gossip artist from Helmond has been active since 2019. He enjoys playing with puns, and with his motto, "A joke is only skewed if you look at it from the wrong angle. Look at it from a different angle, then it might be funnier," he also guarantees a great laugh.

The third gossip artist is also from Helmond. The name Rob Scheepers needs no introduction. This highly experienced chatterbox has been in the barrel since 1998. He's been a multiple finalist at De Keiebijters and is certainly no stranger to Raopersgat, where he's brought the house down on numerous occasions. The fourth and final chatterbox of the evening is hosted by Wichard de Benis. This chatterbox, originally from Best, has also reached several finals at De Keiebijters and the Brabant championships. Since 2002, he's been taking the audience on a journey through one of his bizarre vacations or one of his absurd professions.

The evening will feature musical interludes from the duo Stenzel and Kivits, who combine music and humor in a great show. They're a nice change of pace from the chatterboxes of the evening. DJ Rob Leenders will close out the evening, ensuring the afterparty will go on until the wee hours. Pre-sale starts on Monday, November 17th, at the village hall. Tickets will be available for purchase at Jumbo Lieshout and Dorpshuis Lieshout starting November 19th.
