Ruweeuwsels
The Ruweeuwsels nature reserve near lock 5 was originally used for growing poplars, gradually the poplar plantation was transformed into a more varied mixed wetland forest. It currently consists of trouser forest with small parcels of wet grassland offering nice vistas.
