Stippelberg en Grotels Bos

De Stippelberg is an area of more than 2,000 footfall fields, consisting of woods, heathland, stately avenues and sand drifts. From Beek en Donk, you cycle towards Gemert. Gemert Castle still stands proudly. Stop and take a look. From Handel, you cycle straight to the Stippelberg. The old shifting dunes in the west of the area lie like dots in the landscape, to which the Stippelberg owes its name. Before 1893, the area consisted mainly of heathland, but between 1893 and 1935, Douglas fir and Japanese larch were planted.
