Scooter route Klotterpeel

Tour of Stippelberg, Klotterpeel with the outskirts of Bakel and Deurne

Green route through the woods  
This cycle route is well suited for scooter riders, you make a nice trip through the outskirts of Deurne, Bakel and the Rips. Along the way there are opportunities for stops, to take a break, to enjoy the surroundings or for a snack and a drink. 

Care farm and Natuurpoort Nederheide 
On the way to junction 21 you will find care farm De Kruidenhoeve (terrace). Follow the asphalted road to junction 10. Further on, turn left onto the paved bike path. You arrive at Natuurpoort Nederheide. Time for coffee, lunch or would you rather continue? 

Klotterpeel
If you continue, continue on the road and turn right onto the paved bike path next to which is a paved road. At the end of the road turn left. At node 10 turn right towards node 48. On your right you have the Klotterpeel. After about 100 meters you can get off and go through the gate. Maybe take a walk (1.2 km), or take a break on a bench with a view over the Klotterpeel before continuing on the road? 

The name Klotterpeel comes from the peat, or 'klotten', that were cut here in the 14th century. It is a remnant of an extensive heath and raised moor area that was present in North Brabant and Limburg until the 19th century

After junction 9 follow junction 21, cross the earlier road through Milheeze and cross over to junction 20. The last part to this junction is about a kilometer on a gravel road. Easy to do with bicycle and / or scooter.

Boerenhuis and Markt Deurne
At junction 18, Het Boerenhuis is a pleasant location with a terrace in an agricultural area. A nice last mooring before you drive back to Deurne and reach the end point on the Markt. On the market square you can choose from various nice restaurants.
