Rond Stiphout en Lieshout
The route starts at Bavaria Brouwerij Café on the Heuvel in Lieshout. Shady roads then lead you through rural Brabant with its fields and meadows. On the outskirts of Stiphout, at junction 61, you can see the solitary church tower of the demolished Sint-Trudo curch between the trees. In the heart of Stiphout, the St. Trudo church was newly built in 1884.Next, you cycle through the Stiphout woods. Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh pine air.In Gerwen, you can admire the fifteenth-century St. Clémens church and further on, you cycle above Breugel through the Dommel valley. The Vresselse Bos was planted in the twenties of the last century on a sandy ridge; you will see Scots pines, oaks and beeches. De Leest is the last place of interest on your route: it is a corn mill dating from 1899.
