The tour has been composed on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of Liessel. The route is about 5 kilometres long and passes through the centre of Liessel. The history of the surrounding area can be experienced by way of the bicycle tour through Liessel's history. 
In search of the past Despite the fact that, by the end of World War II, quite a bit of Liessel history was lost, this walking tour brings history to life. The tour leads along special places where monuments were and still are standing, such as the church of Liessel and the St. Hubertus chapel, but also passes the place where the St. Antonius Convent used to stand.
