Looking for something for the kids that is not really swimming? At Toon Kortooms Park in Deurne you can walk barefoot past lookout towers and a rope bridge.
Nature and environmental centre De Ossenbeemd in Deurne also has a barefoot path.

Where to swim in the Land van de Peel
There are three natural swimming spots in the region. Natural pool Nederheide in Milheeze lies in the middle of the Stippelberg nature reserve, with a sandy beach and lawn. Recreational pond Berkendonk in Helmond is free to visit and also has an area for surfing and sailing. De Rooye Plas in Handel is a water ski lake where you can also swim.
Yes, Recreational pond Berkendonk is free to visit. You swim within the marked recreational area. There is supervision between 1 May and 1 September, from 11am to 6pm.
Swimming Pool De Diepsteeckel in Someren is a large heated outdoor pool. It has a leisure pool, a 25-metre competition pool and a slide. The swimming season runs from 1 May to 31 August.
In Asten you can go to Zwembad De Schop, part of Sports Complex De Schop. You can do laps, take swimming lessons and join aqua sports.
In Laarbeek you swim at Swimming pool Ezzy's in Beek en Donk. It lies in the green heart of Laarbeek, right by the music garden. You can also take swimming lessons here.
Near Gemert-Bakel you can swim in nature at Natural pool Nederheide in Milheeze. De Rooye Plas in Handel is also located in this municipality and is suitable for swimming.
Deurne does not have its own swimming spot in the current offer. The nearest natural swimming spot is Natural pool Nederheide in Milheeze, in the municipality of Gemert-Bakel. For water play with children, you can go to Toon Kortoomspark in Deurne.
