Information evening about sex

Many teenagers get information about sex through TikTok and other social media. Sometimes it's accurate, but often it's not.

They see short videos, strong opinions, and images that aren't always age-appropriate. As a parent, you want your child to learn the right things, but it's not always clear where to start. This meeting will help you get started with clear explanations, relatable examples, and practical tips.

This evening is for all parents/carers, caregivers, and supervisors of teenagers (ages 10–18). You don't need any experience with this topic. Just come, listen, and bring what resonates with you. You'll gain clear insight into puberty, boundaries, and consent. They'll show how social media influences young people's perceptions. You'll get simple tips to start the conversation at home, and you'll discover that you're not the only parent who struggles with this. They're organizing this evening because young people find information faster than you can keep up as a parent. And because you are the reliable source, not TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram.
