Jaap Tempelaars exhibits his paintings at Kunstpodium 't Oude Raadhuis.
Jaap grew up in Beek en Donk, where his parents owned a laundromat. He played outside a lot. He couldn't attend art school because it was too expensive. Instead, he went to the Graphic School in Eindhoven, but he found it boring and not creative enough.

His work is characterized by craftsmanship, feeling, and imagination. For Jaap, art should be accessible to everyone:
If you find it beautiful, it's art.
If you feel connected, it's art.
If you find it beautifully made, it's art.
Jaap now confidently presents his paintings to a wider audience. His goal: art that moves, connects, and inspires, without pretense, but with a genuine love for the craft.
The exhibition can be viewed on Saturdays and Sundays and during the gift shop's opening hours.
