The film Calle Malaga is showing at the Village Hall in Lieshout.

A heartwarming film about memories, independence, and rediscovering yourself later in life. 74-year-old Maria has lived in Tangier for years, but when her daughter wants to sell her apartment, she decides not to be simply sent away. During her struggle to preserve her familiar life, she unexpectedly rediscovers love as well.

The film by Maryam Touzani, known for The Blue Caftan, won the audience award at the Venice Film Festival.

Practical Information
The film is being screened at the Village Hall in Lieshout. Doors open fifteen minutes before the start of the film. Tickets can be purchased via the schedule on the library's website and at the door. A ticket includes a cup of coffee or tea.

This enjoyable afternoon film is organized by Library De Lage Beemden in collaboration with the Laarbeek Senior Citizens' Associations.
