JOTA-JOTI

Scouting Aarle-Rixtel is festively concluding a well-attended Adventure Month with an open day during the international JOTA-JOTI weekend.

Over the past few weeks, many children have already participated in the Adventure Month. During this month, non-members could join in Scouting activities without obligation and get acquainted with teamwork, discovery, and having fun outdoors. The open day marks the spectacular conclusion of this active month. This year's JOTA-JOTI theme is 'Digital Physical'. Visitors will discover how the physical and digital worlds seamlessly merge within Scouting. There are original challenges and games that combine digital technology and active puzzles. Naturally, visitors can also take a seat behind the radio transmitter to make contact via the airwaves with other Scouts, somewhere else in the Netherlands or even on the other side of the world! After all, more than 2 million Scouts around the world will also be trying to make contact.

The program is specifically tailored to children and young people up to 15 years old, but the open day is a fun and surprising outing for the whole family. Members are welcome to bring friends along, and neighbors or anyone interested can also drop in spontaneously. Adults are also very welcome to come and experience the atmosphere, and perhaps you would enjoy helping out. Scouting Aarle-Rixtel is urgently looking for new volunteers.
