Thijs Kemperink

Twente-based comedian Thijs Kemperink is an inimitable storyteller. In his new show “Tot het uiterste gedreven”, Thijs takes you on a journey through our current society, where common sense is increasingly giving way to what he calls the “unhealthy” mind. Thijs increasingly encounters himself. He comes across sides of himself that he would rather have kept secret. Not so long ago, he reached the proverbial edge and, without thinking twice, was about to take the law into his own hands. Fortunately, it did not come to that, as having two left hands is not the best option.

How can we all get back to being more patient with each other? That we show more respect? How do we make sure we are not pushed to extremes? In his new performance, Thijs shares his fears in a hilarious and moving way. He wants to prepare everyone for what is to come if he is ever really “pushed to the limit”.
